In 1975, Edward Dubester started Mared Mechanical with HVAC and Architectural as its primary focus. The company started in South Milwaukee in a 7,000 sq ft building with eight (8) employees.
In 1980, Mared Mechanical expanded to its new 17,000 sq ft shop on National Ave in Milwaukee. Mared also acquired a piping firm called Byco Mechanical and all their employees. Thus bring the total number of employees to 25.
Then in 1996 due to more growth, Mared Mechanical moved into a new location off of 43 rd street and Mill Road. This location was made up of three (3) buildings. One being the main office and Sheetmetal shop; totaling 18,000 sq ft. The second building was the piping shop; totaling 6,000 sq ft and the third building being a storage building. Mared acquired a Fire Protection Company in 2000 and started a Service Department. At this time Mared had grown to (70) employees. While at this location, Mared rebranded itself with a new logo and a fleet of up to (25) vehicles not including office personal. Mared also added a temperature controls division in 2000 and it has been growing ever since. In 2008, Mared started a Plumbing Division thus becoming a full-service mechanical contractor.
Finally in 2021, Mared moved into a new 32,000 sq ft building in Menomonee Falls housing all six (6) divisions under on roof. Also, there was an 8,080 sq ft outdoor fenced in storage area added onto the building. We currently have up to 100 employees at any given time and a fleet of approx. (50) vehicles.

The one constant among our technicians, designers, engineers and union-trained craftsman is experience.
Mared Mechanical’s experience is built upon many landmark buildings in the Milwaukee Area such as the Milwaukee Public Museum’s IMAX Theater, Discovery World and the Milwaukee County War Memorial. We have also installed and serviced systems at such Milwaukee corporations as Kohl’s Corporate Headquarters and Johnson Controls Headquarters.
